Introduction

Welcome to Attorney Generals Chambers’ Online Payment System. The Terms and Conditions apply to payers who wish to make payment online. The terms and conditions form an agreement regulating our relationship with regard to the use of this platform. By authorizing a payment to the Attorney General’s Chambers through the online payment service, it would be deemed as acceptance to these terms and conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use the online payment service. By using this facility, you accept that this will form a legally binding agreement and you also agree to be bound by any such changes/revisions. It is the responsibility of the Payer to have read the terms and conditions before using the online payment service.

Key Terms;

  1. Payment(s) through the online payment service may only be made with a credit card or debit card. The payer will receive payment notification through email.
  2. If the payer has provided the debit or credit card details and there is no response during the process, then the payer must confirm with their banker or credit card company if funds are debited. Payers must proceed with payment if funds are not debited.
  3. The credit/debit card information supplied at the time of using the service is processed by the payment gateway. It is the sole responsibility of the payer to ensure that the information entered in the relevant fields is correct. The payer has the responsibility to retain proof of the transaction for record keeping purposes, which might assist in resolution of any disputes that may arise out of usage of the service.
  4. The service is provided using the payment gateway through a secure website. However, neither the payment gateway service provider nor the Attorney General’s Chambers gives any assurance that the information provided online by the payer is secured or may not be read or intercepted by a third party. The Attorney General’s Chambers does not accept or assume any liability in the event of such unauthorised interception, hacking or other unauthorised access to information provided by the user of the service.

Debit/Credit Card Details:

The payer agrees that the debit/credit card details provided by them for use of the aforesaid service must be correct and accurate. The payer shall not use a debit/ credit card that is not lawfully owned by them or the use of which is not authorised by the lawful owner thereof. The payer further agrees and undertakes to provide correct and valid debit/credit card details.

Privacy Policy

  1. The details provided by payers shall be utilized only for the purpose of receiving the payments. All data shall be kept secure, and shall not be divulged to anyone or utilized for any other purpose.
  2. The Attorney General’s Chambers may share your personal information with the banks for clearing necessary fees payments. This information shall be strictly utilised up to the legal permissible limit.
  3. If payment is made by means of a card that you do not personally own, the permission of the card owner must always be obtained to make payments using the card. In using the system, you confirm that you have such permission.
  4. Information related to payments using debit/credit cards is not accessed or stored by the Institute.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

  1. Invoices will be issued to the payer which reflect fees paid to Attorney General’s Chambers.
  2. There is no cancellation option after the payment has been processed.
  3. In the case of a duplicate payment, a payer must approach Administration or Accounts Department of the Attorney General’s Chambers for a refund with proof of the transaction.
  4. A Refund will be processed within 14 working days of receipt of the duplicate transaction.
