Civil Litigation Division

Responsible for undertaking the litigation of all civil actions on behalf of Government.

Legislative Drafting Division

Responsible for drafting legislation, law revision and consolidation, publishing of legislation in the Government Gazette and producing the annual editions of the Botswana Statute Law and Laws of Botswana.

International and Commercial Division

Provides legal services relating to the negotiation and drafting of international and commercial agreements on behalf of Government.

Directorate of Public Prosecutions

Responsible for instituting and undertaking the prosecution of all criminal cases on behalf of the state.
